Company structure
We are a private company, run by our founder Lee Fieldhouse and his partner Kirsty Hughes (me). It is literally just the two of us. There are no stakeholders, no investors, no parent companies, and no staff. You can read more about us and our values on our About Us page.
Finances
Our banking is done through Regional Australia Bank which is a customer owned bank. We also offer payment via PayPal and Stripe where you can use your cards. If you do not want to support those businesses, we are more than happy to send you the details to make payment directly, or we accept good ol’ fashioned cash. Like many small farming businesses, your patronage directly supports our family.
Content
Our content will always be created by us. We do not and will not publish content (including social media posts, blogs, images and videos) that are AI generated. As of this year (2026), our policy is to put content on our website first and share that to our email subscribers, and to Facebook/ Instagram/ YouTube. If you don’t want to be on those platforms, be sure to sign up for our emails, or put us in your RSS feed! The main thing we want to be able to do is have a conversation with you, and we are open to any suggestions on the best way to do this!
Our farm
We have a small farm (about 11 ha) to run our worm farm. All our Biocast-making happens on site at the farm, from start to finish. The land outside that infrastructure is mostly used for harvesting worm food at the moment, as well as to grow bamboo and for honey bee agistment, and is managed without poisons. Our water is collected on site in a mega rainwater tank. Water uses a solar pump, vehicles use diesel, and we’re on the grid and town water at home.
